The US Virgin Islands is home to three beautiful islands, St. John, St. Thomas, and St. Croix.
Along with one of my BFFs and Travelista partner, Teri, we enjoyed the cool breeze and beautiful waters of the island, against the backdrop of the St. Croix Food and Wine Festival. The event features international and local chefs, wine tastings, and a chance to tour the city’s lovely downtown areas. Most of the tastings take place at exquisite venues, such as private homes, villas, and restaurants.
While there I had a chance to meet singer, songwriter, and boutique owner, Shay. She’s a beautiful young woman with a melodic voice and an eye for style. She showed me some of her store’s most interesting pieces, including a signature jewelry line.

I also met charming Chef Theo and charismatic Chef Evelyn Paul, whose St. Lucian roots came through in her cooking and delightful personality.
Being in St. Croix was an absolute delight and I can’t wait to go back!
